+ Where are you located?

I live in Albuquerque, NM. I was born and raised in Taos, NM and travel there often to visit family. I offer my services anywhere in the northern New Mexico at no additional charge (we have members of our team based in Taos). Locations in southern New Mexico, out of state, and beyond will incur reasonable travel fees. We love to travel, but understand the importance of keeping costs down so we only charge what's absolutely necessary to get us there! Reach out for more information and a custom quote.

+ What is required to book a portrait session?

We require a non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total balance due upon booking. Remainder is due 48 hours before the scheduled session. A signed contract and paid retainer is required to secure your date.

+ What type of sessions do you offer?

My team and I offer a variety of photo sessions! We love photographing families, maternity, seniors, parties/events, milestones, newborns, engagements, weddings, boudoir, headshots, branding, and lifestyle work.

We offer mini sessions (30 minutes) as well as full sessions (60-90 minutes).

+ How far in advance should I book my session?

We can definitely put a shoot together quickly if needed, but if time permits, I recommend booking at least 2-6 weeks in advance. This gives plenty of time to prep your outfit/style choices, schedule any beauty appointments to prep beforehand, and for me to prepare any specialty requests for the session prior. If you are on a tight schedule, still inquire! We can try our best to make something work.

Fall in New Mexico is the most popular time for portrait sessions. I recommend scheduling your photo session towards the middle/end of October. November/December rates are increased due to demand and my ability to return photos to you in time for holiday cards.

+ What is your availability like?

Portrait sessions are available to book Monday-Thursday only. There is an additional $150 fee for weekend sessions. Weekends book very quickly and are often booked several months in advance, so it is never too early to book and confirm your session so your date is reserved.

Holidays: Sessions are not available including: New Years Day, Valentines Day, Memorial Day Weekend (Fri-Mon), 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend (Fri-Mon), Thanksgiving (Wed-Sun), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve

+ Let's talk LOCATIONS! Where will my session be?

There are so many incredible places for photo shoots in New Mexico! We are lucky to be surrounded by a huge variety of outdoor scenic options. When reaching out, please let us know what type of scenery you are wanting for your session or if you have a specific vision or place in mind. We love to help our clients find the perfect background for their session and have tons of amazing location ideas to share.

If you are interested in an indoor session, we can offer a studio option for an additional rental/booking fee or we have the equipment to be able to set up in the comfort of your home.

+ How many pictures do I get?

The number of pictures you receive will depend on the type of session. I would say that on average, you will receive no less than 75 photos for a mini session and 150 for a full session, but it can definitely go up from there.

+ When/how will I receive my photos?

All our packages include hand-edited digital files uploaded to an online gallery with unlimited printing and sharing rights. Your gallery will be available within 4-6 weeks from your session date. If you would like your photos back sooner, we offer 2 different "rush" options: 5 Day Turnaround ($100) and 72 Hour Turnaround ($250).

+ How do I book a session?

We make the booking process easy! Here is a quick overview of the process:

  1. we send you a link to your client portal

  2. we send over a contract for you to sign and an invoice is sent with payment information

  3. we discuss your shooting location and brainstorm your sesh

  4. we send over a style guide, helpful tips, and a pre-session questionnaire

  5. we shoot your session and take some amazing photos :)

  6. a team member edits your images

  7. your images are uploaded to your personal online gallery

  8. we email you your digital gallery and you receive your photos! YAY!
